Feminine, quirky or fun, your wardrobe is only ever as good as its foundations.
This week we want to share with you a collection of five elegant, versatile staples as chosen by our Creative Director.
Like an old friend, these go-to pieces will always be there ready to make you feel good, willing to play a supporting role when necessary or to shine in their own right.
Designed to be styled up or down, work to play, these key pieces will open up fresh styling options within your existing wardrobe.

LIGHT WEIGHT MAXI SKIRT
The Debbie Spot Pleat Dress in black and white is made using carefully sourced archive yarn. Lined, and constructed from four tiers of finely pleated, whisper-weight chiffon, this delicately feminine piece can be styled up or down.
Pair with boots or heels for a more formal look or style with a trainers for something more urban and fun. We love how this skirt looks just as good with a smart blouse or an oversize sweat.

A COAT THAT'S ALSO A DRESS
A smart utility dress in pistachio with little quirky design twists to give it stand-out-from-the-crowd appeal. Unarguably a useful staple for any wardrobe.
A light-weight, easy-to-wear duster. Again, it’s not difficult to imagine how often useful a piece like that might be.
Well, how about both in one?
With oversize bellow pockets and featuring an O ring belt fastener, this seasonless piece is endlessly versatile.

SMART, CASUAL TAILORED TROUSER
These trousers are expertly tailored, and as always, the eye is on fit. Slightly cropped, they can be worn with boots, heels or trainers for a more casual look. Style with a smart blouse, knitwear or an oversize sweat. With endless ways to wear and pair, these trousers are a wardrobe work horse and yet never stray into the bland.

A GOOD QUALITY WOOL-BLEND COAT
Considering we spend most of the Autumn and Winter in them, a great coat is essential. Our Belted Robe Coat has a burgundy contrasting under-collar and comes with two belts for different styling options. The first of the two belts is narrower and made from the same, carefully sourced archive fabric as the coat. The second belt is reversible with a black, vegan faux leather side for a wholly more dramatic look.

CRISP WHITE SHIRT
So, we’ve saved what is probably the simplest item in this week’s edit until last. And yet, as simple as it is, in many ways it’s the most versatile. A white, crisp, fresh cotton style shirt. I’m sure we don’t need to explain to you how useful a piece like this is.
Like most of our garments, this item looks simple at first glance, (as most great design does) but the beauty of this shirt is in the detail. The front and back seams and batwing sleeve really gives this shirt the edge.
Wear it with a suit, a skirt, jeans, shorts, tucked in or untucked - buttoned up or unbuttoned. Always there waiting for that last minute, ‘what to wear?’ interview or dinner date - a must-have staple, and the options are as endless as your opportunities.
